Clinical Hypnotherapist

What is Hypnotherapy?  Psycholocal therapy and counselling (sometimes referred to as the "talking cure") is the treatment of emotional and psychological disorders, unwanted habits and undesirable feelings, using psychological techniques alone.  The aim of all such thereapy is to assist clients in finding meaningful alternatives to their present unsatisfactory ways of thinking, feeling or behaving.  Therapy also tends to help clients become more accepting of both themselves and others and can be most useful in promoting personal development and unlocking inner potential.

Hypnotherapy enhances the experience of life, is easy, fun and an effective way of working towards your goals.  Using  hypnotherapy, change can be faster than the speed of light, as that's exactly how fast the subconscious mind can process your desires.

Hypnotherapy, is safe and drug free, allowing you the wonderful experience of improvement with no side effects.  You cannot get 'stuck' in hypnosis.  Nor can you be forced or coerced into doing anything which goes against your own ethics or beliefs.  Hypnotherapy is extraordinarily effective but it is NOT magic.

Hypnosis is not sleep.  The subconsious mind never sleeps.  Though it is, a completely normal and natural state of mind and consciousness.  We all experience this level of consciousness just before we 'drop off ' to sleep and before we become fully awake.  It's a little like that lovely 'drifting' sensation you may have, if sometimes, you wake up before your alarm call in the morning.
